Siamese trees

Imagine strolling along the water’s edge. Then something catches your eye. You stop to observe.

These trees, … or rather this tree? Are these Siamese trees? Feet in the water, one takes root in the other.

Observe…. These Japanese forms of the shape of the foliage… is it natural or artificial pruning?

And those bright windows, … there’s life in there. Who could possibly live here?
